About Malene Vedel

Malene Vedel (Mel)

Manual Therapist | Hands-on treatment for pain, recovery and movement

My name is Malene Vedel, and I work as a manual therapist in Sorø.

I work with a wide range of musculoskeletal and functional problems, from acute injuries and ankle sprains to persistent back, shoulder and hip pain, headaches, migraines, concussion and post-operative rehabilitation. I also see people living with chronic pain, fatigue, stress and restricted movement.

My background in movement, strength training, yoga, meditation and breathwork gives me additional tools that I can integrate into treatment when appropriate. I also draw on my knowledge of nutrition and lifestyle to support a broader approach to health and recovery.

My approach is individual, anatomical and hands-on. Rather than focusing only on where symptoms are felt, I look at the wider picture: how different areas of the body move and function together and which factors may be contributing to the problem.

I live here in Sorø with my husband and our two young children.

I speak both Danish and English, and sessions are always adapted to your individual needs, pace and goals.

My training and qualifications include:

  • Manual Therapist
  • Osteopathy student at ESO
  • Physiotherapy student at University College Absalon
  • Concussion Recovery
  • Headaches Treatments and Life
  • Lower back pain
  • Meditation, yoga and mobility teacher
